Brazing

Professional Brazing

Industrial brazing and joining services for aerospace and industrial components ThermoFusion provides professional brazing services for industrial applications throughout the Bay Area. Brazing is a metal joining process that creates strong, leak-tight joints by melting a filler alloy between closely fitted components while leaving the base materials intact. Our brazing capabilities support complex assemblies requiring precision, strength, cleanliness, and repeatable performance. ThermoFusion performs a variety of brazing processes to meet the unique requirements of customer components, materials, and operating environments.

How Brazing Works

Brazing joins two or more materials by heating a filler alloy above its melting temperature while keeping the base materials below their melting point. The molten filler metal flows through the joint by capillary action, creating a metallurgical bond between the components. The process is commonly used when welding may introduce excessive distortion or when components require leak-tight joints, complex geometries, or dissimilar material combinations.
