    Lee Edwards, the 3rd generation owner of Edwards Heat Treating, has decided to retire and merge his heat treating company into ThermoFusion. We’ve known Lee, his dad and uncle, and their dad, for well over 40 years, and we’re happy to help him move into the next phase of his life!

    Edwards Heat Treating will cease to exist on August 31. We’re reaching out to all the Edwards’ customers to welcome them to their new home. If we haven’t contacted you yet, please feel free to give us a call.

    For comparisons, Edwards Heat Treating had about 7 employees, ThermoFusion has about 30. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We perform vacuum and hydrogen heat treating as well as all the methods Edwards used. And we offer a complete line of brazing and metal joining services.

  3. Welcome to Our Newest Employees

    We’ve added two new employees to our full time staff. Please welcome:

    – Colleen, Accounts Receivable.  Colleen has over seven years in customer service and accounting. She comes from a family of 8 children. She says she is excited to be at ThermoFusion, and hopes to make each customer feel special.

    – Pablo, Braze and Materials Engineer. Pablo recently graduated from SJSU with a Materials Engineering degree, and has worked at ThermoFusion part time for the past two years. He is the only left-handed child in a family of 7 children. He enjoys indoor rock climbing and materials analysis.

    Once again, ThermoFusion leads the heat treating and brazing industry in its investment in new tools and support for its customers. This time – a $20k investment in IT infrastructure to improve our communication with our customers. While it may seem seamless to our customers, its a big deal, and big improvement, for us!

    We don’t like talking about our competitors, but occasionally one does something that is really cool, and worth noting to all our customers.
